Autel will not know when you purchased your scanner so it goes by your scanners manufacturing date when registering. Just hang on to your receipt and go through Napa if you have problems. I have the same issue.

 We decide the warranty period upon manufacture date. However, distributors may provide one year warranty upon purcase date.
